This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms and conditions under which TheGlovePope, a business established and operating from Fullerton, California (“we”, “us”, or “our”), arranges, processes, and fulfils the shipment and delivery of products and repair services purchased via our website www.TheGlovePope.com (the “Website”).
By placing an order or engaging us to provide repair services through the Website, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) acknowledge and agree that shipment of goods shall be governed exclusively by this Policy, in addition to our Terms of Use and any applicable service or repair agreement.
1. Shipping Methods and Carriers
1.1 All orders and completed repairs shall, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, be dispatched via USPS Priority Mail.
1.2 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to substitute USPS with an alternative carrier of equivalent standing where such substitution is reasonably necessary to ensure timely or secure delivery.
2. Geographic Scope of Delivery
2.1 We provide shipment solely to addresses located within Canada and the United States of America.
2.2 For the avoidance of doubt, shipments shall not be made to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or to jurisdictions outside Canada and the United States. Any orders placed with shipping addresses falling outside the permitted geographic scope shall be subject to cancellation.
3. Processing and Dispatch
3.1 Subject always to stock availability and completion of payment, orders are ordinarily processed and dispatched within two (2) to three (3) business days, excluding statutory holidays observed in the United States.
3.2 Any delivery dates or timeframes communicated by us, whether at checkout or subsequently, are strictly estimates only and shall not constitute binding commitments or guarantees of delivery.
4. Shipping Costs
4.1 Shipping costs shall be calculated at checkout based upon the applicable carrier rates, destination, and weight of the order, and shall be payable by the Customer contemporaneously with the purchase.
4.2 Shipping fees are strictly non-refundable, except where a refund is mandated by applicable consumer protection legislation in Canada.
5. Repairs and Return Shipping
5.1 In respect of items submitted to us for repair services, the Customer shall be solely responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of shipping such items to our designated facility.
5.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing at the time of service, the cost of return shipping of repaired items is deemed included within the applicable service fee charged to the Customer.
5.3 The Customer shall ensure that all items sent for repair are packaged in a secure and protective manner adequate to withstand transit. We shall not be liable for damage occasioned by insufficient or negligent packaging on the part of the Customer.
6. Tracking Information
6.1 We shall provide the Customer with a tracking number or equivalent reference once the relevant order or repaired item has been dispatched.
6.2 It shall be the Customer’s sole responsibility to monitor such tracking information and to make appropriate arrangements to receive delivery.
7. Risk of Loss and Damage in Transit
7.1 Risk of loss of, or damage to, goods shall pass to the Customer upon our delivery of the shipment into the custody of USPS or such alternative carrier as permitted under Clause 1.2.
7.2 For the avoidance of doubt, we shall not be liable for any goods that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged during transit to the Customer once handed over to the carrier.
7.3 Customers are strongly encouraged to retain proof of dispatch when sending items to us for repair, and to consider using trackable and insured shipping methods for their own protection, notwithstanding that such insurance shall remain at the Customer’s sole cost and discretion.
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend, modify, or replace this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the Website. The revised Policy shall take effect from the date of publication, which will be indicated above. Continued use of our Website or Services following such amendments shall constitute binding acceptance of the revised Policy.
